5.Party and event management

New to event management, but after several events, there are still some experiences that other newer hands lack. Like I was able to remind Lucia about the name badge and Sissi on the importance of rehearse earlier.



6. Time Flies

Time really flies. It seems they've just arrived when I heard that Carin and Johanna would leave. I guess they felt the same thing too as I believe China would certainly mesmerize and traumatize them in such a short time.

The highlight time that I spent with them was when we had the good-bye dinner at the Xian Heng restaurant. We've cheated them into eating snakes! Something even I myself dared not to eat. Perhaps we should try and let them eat the dog's meat, but perhaps that would be too much.



7. There is beauty in human's heart

Please ask yourself now: If you found RMB 5,000 on the road, will you stand there for one hour waiting for someone to claim it? Or if you found a mobile phone on the road, will you return it to the owner?

When I lost my mobile phone in a taxi the other day, I almost did not have the hope of getting it back. As I believed that nowadays there are not many good guys as me *_* (this is my red face), people can be easily tempted by money, and mobile phones. You know how I was feeling standing there: that I lost a mobile phone by no reason, it costed 2 thousand bucks, my friends will not find me through the phone for a while...

But when I phoned my mobile phone, the driver actually answered the phone and said he is there waiting for me to get the phone back!

I salute this driver for his kind heart and I do hope that I will not hesitate in returning the RMB 5,000 to the right owner.


8. IKEA TORTURE

Finally, the event is over. After many hectic days of working worries and endless hours.

IKEA is an event somehow fell upon me (together with Kevin), then everything is piled up upon us, everything is moving in a middle of uncertainty. But finally we pulled it off. It's not an event satisfactorily executed, even, 1/6 of it was disastrous:( but thank God, it is over. I think it's true that one's experience will gather no matter what.
